Self-Employed Income Support Scheme – 5th Grant

HM Revenue & Customs will shortly be contacting those who they feel could be eligible for the 5th SEISS grant.

To be eligible to claim, your business profit should be impacted between May and September 2021 as a result of the pandemic. There are several other conditions that must be met.

There are now also restrictions on the amount you can receive. This will be based on your turnover and you’ll be asked to supply figures to HMRC in order to make a claim. In certain circumstances only 30% of profits may be claimed, rather than the usual 80%.

There are upper limits to the amounts claimable. Please contact us or go to the HMRC website at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/claim-a-grant-through-the-coronavirus-covid-19-self-employment-income-support-scheme if you have any queries.
